The International Student Code of Conduct in Dutch Higher Education has been in effect since 1 May 2006 and revised two times since then. On October 2022 the last revised version became effective. The Code of Conduct is a joint initiative of the Dutch government and the Institutions for Higher Education.
The Code of Conduct regulates various aspects concerning international students at Institutions for Higher Education and universities. For instance, presenting a clear picture of the educational programme, the content of the various study programmes, the requirements of application and the specific services offered by the institution.
