Under the umbrella name ‘Microsoft365’, you have access to various online services such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and more — all available via portal.office.com.
If you experience any problems with your account, please contact ict@hdkdenhaag.nl for support.
The use of external platforms such as WhatsApp or Facebook for one-on-one contact or group communication is discouraged.
The exchange of personal data of students, teachers, and staff members may not take place outside the digital environment provided by the KC, in accordance with European privacy regulations.
By asking students to use a platform other than Microsoft 365, we are effectively asking them to create external accounts — and we are not allowed to require that.
If there is an absolute necessity to use an online service that is not part of Microsoft 365, please consult with privacy@hdkdenhaag.nl first.
If you are a teacher or staff member and need to view students’ personal data, please use Osiris as your first source.
If you do not have access, check with your department head or coordinator about the available options.
If you do need to request or share personal data via email, please follow these steps:
-
Do not include personal data directly in the body of an email.
(Such data may be stored for a long time in the recipient’s mailbox, which is not permitted.) -
Go to excel.office.com, log in with your @koncon.nl account, and select “New workbook”.
Once created and the necessary data has been entered, click “Share” in the top-right corner.
You can select recipients both inside and outside the organisation and specify whether they can view or edit the data. -
Only share the personal data that is strictly necessary for the specific purpose.
-
You can withdraw access to the shared file at any time, including by deleting the file itself.
This way, you remain in control of who can access the data. -
Avoid printing spreadsheets containing personal information.
If printing is unavoidable, transfer the data back into the secure KC digital environment afterwards and dispose of the printed copy using a shredder.
There are exemptions for specific materials (e.g. exam or portfolio materials that must be archived).
If in doubt, consult your department.
To use services such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more, go to portal.office.com and log in with your @koncon.nl account and password.
You can access these services directly through your browser or by using the installed applications on your computer.
These programs may already be installed on your device. If so, you can simply log in with your @koncon.nl account to collaborate on documents with students or colleagues at KC.
All online services used within the University of the Arts can also be found at start.hdk.nl.
If you no longer have access to your login details, you can reset or recover them via start.hdk.nl.
On this webpage, you can also access Osiris Docent, Asimut, and other software supported by KC.
In Teams, it is possible to create so-called tags and assign them to specific people.
This allows you to easily reach a group of students or teachers at once, regardless of existing class groups or Team structures. View the instructions here.
